This page describes how SKMRH collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit skmrh.com, apply for a job offer or create an account on our platform. We aim to be clear, honest and respectful of your rights under Senegal's law n°2008-12 on the protection of personal data and the GDPR (European Union).
1. Data controller
The data controller is SKMRH, with registered offices at Mamelles, Cité Touba Renaissance, Lot N°67, 3rd floor, Dakar, Senegal. For any question related to your personal data, contact us at contact@skmrh.com.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Account data: first name, last name, email, phone, address, country, photo, contact email (if different from login).
- Application data: professional experiences, education, cover letter, the position you applied for.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, OS, pages visited (only if you accept cookies — see section below).

4. Data retention
- Active accounts: as long as your account exists. You can delete it at any time from your profile.
- Job applications: 2 years after your last application, then automatically deleted.
- Audience data: 14 months (Google Analytics default).
5. Recipients
Direct recipients:
- SKMRH staff members in charge of recruitment (super admins, managers, consultants, administrative staff).
- Companies that entrust us with their recruitment, only when your application is shortlisted for one of their open positions.
Technical sub-processors:
- NetWise Africa (Senegal) — developer and maintainer of the platform.
- Our hosting provider (Vercel, USA) and database (Supabase, Ireland).
- Google Analytics (USA) — only if you have given your consent.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and Senegalese law, you have the right to:
- Access your data and obtain a copy
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format (Excel)
- Withdraw your consent at any time (cookies, optional communications)
To exercise these rights, write to contact@skmrh.com. We will respond as soon as possible. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
7. Cookies & trackers
Cookies set by this site fall into two categories: those needed to operate the service (functional, exempt from consent) and those that require your explicit consent (audience measurement).

Functional cookies (session, security, language preference, your cookie choice) are exempt from consent under data protection authorities' guidelines. You can change your audience measurement choice at any time via the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS, stored in databases protected by row-level security, and access is limited to authorised staff. Passwords are hashed (bcrypt) and never stored in clear text.
9. Updates
This policy may evolve. The publication date at the top reflects the most recent version. We will notify you in case of a substantial change.
